IASPS and Its Impact

Google is the world's most used search engine for the Internet. More people use Google than any other engine to find literature on whatever subject interests them. Google is designed to show results in the order of their popularity - in other words, the first item that appears in the results of a Google search is the item more people actually use than any of the others that appear afterwards.

Last month, anyone who typed in the words "Internet infrastructure, reform" would have been presented with 125,000 websites that had information on that subject. As can be seen in the photocopy of the Google search page above, the first item appearing in the Google search is IASPS Policy Studies No. 43 by IASPS Koret Fellow Amir Etzioni. This means that this IASPS research was the most read study in the world on the subject of Internet infrastructure policy.

When the policy community wants to know, it turns to IASPS.
