Terror in India

The Associated Press reports that "a half-dozen gunmen in a car with sirens blaring stormed Parliament on Thursday, killing the gunmen and seven police in an attack with grenades, automatic rifles and a human bomb, the government said." There are two things to know about this murdering of Indian parliamentarians by Muslims.

The first thing that is made clear here and more clear in another recent NBN is that New York Times Mideast expert and Pulitzer Prize winner Thomas Friedman is incorrect about Muslim terrorism. He has said India shows in its peaceful and well-adjusted Muslim minority that all that's needed to cure Muslim terrorism world-wide is for the US and the West to end Muslim poverty and topple Arab Muslim governments. Just look at India. It's a  democracy and has economic opportunity.

But, in addition to being wrong (about Muslim terrorism, not about India) before these murderous attacks - and libeleing the populations of the rest of the world where poverty and tyranny does not produce a dominating culture of murder and terror - the fact is Arab Muslim terrorism thrives in wealthy Saudi Arabia (15 of the 19 of 9/11 were Saudis) just as it thrives everywhere else. And terrorism is undeniably thriving in India where the "minority" (it's 10%) is two-thirds the size of the entire population of the US. In the Parliament. In broad daylight. These are the same Terrorists, Suicidal Terrorists and Believers in Islam you can see everywhere in the world. So what's the second thing?

The New York Times, Mr. Friedman and his associates, want you to know: It can't happen here!

It's only a matter of time. They can do it in their "sleepers."
